Technical Tours
A variety of technical visits have been arranged for delegates attending the ITS AP 2006 Forum. The locations are of interest to the ITS community from the worldwide, which will preliminarily include:
(a) Road-based Control Centres: - Aberdeen Tunnel Control Centre - Tai Lam Tunnel Control Room - Transport Department's Traffic Control Centre - Tsing Ma Control Area Control Centre - Western Harbour Crossing Control Centre (b) Public Transport Control Centres: - Kowloon Motor Bus Logistic System - Mass Transit Railway, Tsing Yi Operations Centre - Vessel Traffic Centre - West Rail Control Centre (c) Logistics Control Centres: - Hongkong International Terminals (HIT) (d) Laboratories - Chinese University Advanced Robotics Lab - City University Smart Card Design Centre - Hong Kong Polytechnic University Navigation Centre - Hong Kong University ITS Lab (e) Air Traffic - Cathay Pacific Airways Flight Simulator
